| Due to the
irrational possessiveness of the music industry monopolists, my
playlist continues to shrink as videos are pulled off of Google-owned
YouTube. Apparently, reviving obscure music that the industry no
longer promotes, itself, in low-quality Flash video formats--that can
neither be saved on discs or MP3 players--is a threat to the music
industry. The free exposure and de
facto marketing that YouTube offered these long-forgotten songs
is not appreciated and the concept that viewers are more likely to
PURCHASE these songs after they've been reminded of them, for free, on
YouTube is lost on these corporate bullies. |
